[Korrespondent] Ukrainian defenders are decisively repelling Russian attempts to advance deeper into our territory.
Since the beginning of the day, 118 combat clashes have occurred on the front, 34 of which were in the Pokrovsk direction. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening report on Sunday, September 7.
In the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions, Ukrainian soldiers repelled nine assault actions by Russian invaders. In the Yuzhno-Slobodskoy direction, the enemy assaulted the positions of our units in the area of ​​Vovchansk, Ambarnoye and Kamyanka 12 times. Two combat clashes are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the occupiers carried out offensive actions in the Kupyansk area and in the direction of Peschanoye. Ukrainian defenders stopped four enemy attacks. In the Limansk direction, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 13 times near the settlements of Karpovka, Grekovka, Srednee and in the direction of Drobyshevoye, Shandrigolovoe, Derylovoye; fighting continues in four locations.
In the Seversky direction, the Defense Forces repelled eight enemy attacks near Serebryanka, Grigoryevka and in the direction of Yampol and Seversk. In the Kramatorsk direction, three combat clashes have been recorded so far. The enemy attempted to advance in the Orekhovo-Vasilevka area and in the direction of Stupochki and Minkovka.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians launched seven offensives against the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Poltavka, Shcherbinovka and in the direction of Pleshchievka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units 34 times. The enemy attacked positions in the areas of the settlements of Novoekonomichnoe, Rodinskoye, Mirolyubovka, Pokrovsk, Zvirovo, Promen, Lisovka, Udachnoye, Dachnoye, Novoukrainka and in the direction of Novopavlovka. Three clashes are still ongoing.
According to preliminary data, 90 occupiers were neutralized in this direction today, 54 of them irrevocably. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed one tank, six vehicles and one special equipment, one UAV control point; two guns, three vehicles and nine shelters for enemy personnel were also damaged.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy tried to break through the defense of our defenders 16 times in the areas of Komyshuvakha, Zelenyi Gai, Aleksandrovgrad and in the direction of Ivanovka, Sosnovka, Filiya. One combat clash continues. In the Gulyai-Polye direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
In the Orekhov direction, the Defense Forces repelled three attacks by the invaders in the Plavni area and in the direction of Stepnogorsk and Novodanilovka. Novopavlovka and Shcherbaki were subjected to airstrikes. In the Dnieper direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. The aggressor's aviation carried out an airstrike in the area of ​​the settlement of Antonovka.
Let us recall that over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 970 occupiers . Since the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine, the Russian army has lost 1,088,150 servicemen.
