[Korrespondent] In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have attempted to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units 38 times.
Since the beginning of the day, 122 combat clashes have occurred on the front. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the evening of September 5.
It is noted that today Russian troops carried out two missile and 54 air strikes, using six missiles and dropping 79 guided air bombs. In addition, they deployed 1,970 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,565 shellings of Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas.
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian soldiers are repelling five assault actions by the occupiers in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions. In addition, the enemy launched 11 air strikes, dropping 29 guided bombs, and also carried out 169 shellings of our troops' positions and populated areas, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobodskoy direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units near Vovchansk five times.
In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor carried out offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Kupyansk, Petrovpavlovka and Kolesnikovka. Ukrainian defenders stopped six enemy attacks, one combat clash is still ongoing.
In the Liman direction, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 15 times near the settlements of Andreyevka, Druzhelyubovka, Kolodyagi, Drobyshevo and in the direction of Olgovka and Shandrigolovoe. The fighting does not subside in two locations.
Twelve assault actions by enemy troops were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Seversky direction - the occupiers tried to advance near Grigoryevka, Serebryanka, Dronovka, Fedorovka, Vyemka and in the direction of Dibrova.
Our defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the Stupochki area in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians launched 11 offensives against Ukrainian units in the areas of Pleshchyivka, Rusiny Yar and Poltavka. The defense forces stopped all enemy attacks.

The enemy attacked in the areas of the settlements of Shakhovo, Nikanorovka, Rodinskoye, Novoekonomicheskoye, Mayak, Rubezhnoye, Sukhoi Yar, Shevchenko, Promen, Pokrovsk, Kotlin, Udachnoye, Dachnoye and in the direction of Filiya and Novopavlovka. Four combat clashes are still ongoing.
According to preliminary data, 132 occupiers were neutralized in this direction today, 80 of them irrevocably. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed nine cars, 19 unmanned aerial vehicles, four units of special equipment; one control point for unmanned aerial vehicles and two enemy guns were damaged.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy tried to break through the defense of our defenders 22 times in the areas of the settlements of Zelenyi Gai, Filiya, Poddubnoye, Aleksandrovgrad, Voskresenka, Temirovka, Shevchenko, Maliyevka, Komyshuvakha. The fighting continues in four locations.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Gulyai-Polye direction.
In the Orekhov direction, the Defense Forces repelled one attack by the invaders towards Stepnogorsk. The enemy launched an air strike on the settlement of Novoadrievka.
In the Dnieper direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three attacks by the occupiers. Lviv was hit by unguided air missiles.
In other directions - without any significant changes.
The General Staff noted the soldiers of the 78th separate airborne assault regiment, the 114th separate territorial defense brigade, the 116th and 153rd separate mechanized brigades, who effectively destroy the enemy, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment.
Let us recall that over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 810 occupiers. Two tanks, two armored vehicles, an air defense system, 50 artillery systems and 222 UAVs were destroyed.
