[Korrespondent] The most active battles are taking place in the Pokrovsky direction, where units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already repelled more than 30 assaults by Russian occupiers.
Since the beginning of the current day and as of 16:00, 104 combat clashes have occurred on the front. This is almost twice as many as yesterday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational report on Saturday, August 30.
Thus, in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions our defenders repelled five attacks by the Russians. Four more clashes are still ongoing.
Four attacks have been stopped in the Yuzhno-Slobodskoy direction and another enemy assault is continuing in the area of ​​the settlements of Vovchansk and Kamenka.
In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressors attacked six times in the areas of the settlements of Petrovpavlovka and Kupyansk. Three clashes are still ongoing.
In the Liman direction, the invading army attacked 15 times near the settlements of Novy Mir, Kolodezi, Dibrova, in the direction of the settlements of Shandrigolovo, Dronovka. Five armed clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the Defense Forces repelled one attack. The invading units tried to advance near Serebryanka.
In the Toretsk direction, our soldiers stopped five enemy offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Pleshchievka, Rusin Yar and Poltavka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers stormed 38 times in the areas of the settlements of Shakhovo, Sukhetskoye, Nikanorovka, Vladimirivka, Novoekonomicheskoye, Mirolyubovka, Krasny Liman, Promen, Lisovka, Zvirovo, Kotlin, Udachnoye, Novoukrainka, in the direction of the settlements of Pokrovsk and Zolotoy Kolodets. The defense forces have already stopped 33 attacks.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy attacked 11 times in the areas of the settlements of Aleksandrovgrad, Maliyevka, Shevchenko, Zelenoe Pole, in the direction of the settlements of Novoselovka, Komyshuvakha. Four combat clashes continue.
The aggressor attacked three times in the Orekhov direction - the occupiers tried to advance in the area of ​​the settlement of Kamenskoye. One armed clash is still ongoing.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Kramatorsk, Gulyai-Pole and Dnieper directions.
Let us recall that in the course of 24 hours on August 29, Russia lost almost 900 servicemen killed and wounded. The total number of Russian losses is approaching 1.1 million people.
