| Egypt signs oil, gas exploration deals worth $340 million with global firms |

| [IsraelTimes] Egypt has signed four agreements with international firms worth more than $340 million to explore gas and oil in the Mediterranean and Nile Delta, the Petroleum Ministry says in a statement. They include a $120 million deal with Shell and a $100 million deal with Italia’s Eni, the statement says. For national use, reducing their expenses, or for sale, boosting the national income to support their rapidly rising population. Both are good. |
