The Prosecutor General's Office made a decision to recognize the activities of this organization as undesirable in the Russian Federation on July 23.
Regnum IA observer Viktor Lavrinenko noted earlier: “Reporters Without Borders” in its new “press freedom” rating put the Baltic countries in very high places, which, in the conditions of unprecedented censorship in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, looks like a mockery and clearly demonstrates the degree of hypocrisy of this and other similar Western NGOs.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office declared the activities of the international non-governmental organization Amnesty International undesirable in the territory of the Russian Federation. The department stated that since the beginning of the special operation, Amnesty International activists have been attempting to intensify the military confrontation in the region, and to this end, they justify the crimes of Ukrainian neo-Nazis, call for an increase in their funding, and also call for the political and economic isolation of Russia.
