| Police say 42 Gazans staying illegally in Israel arrested in Nazareth |

| [IsraelTimes] Police and Border Police officers last night arrested 42 Gazans who had been illegally residing in Israel, law enforcement officials say. They were arrested in three separate hideout apartments in Nazareth by Northern District forces, as part of an operation aimed at “preventing illegal residency offenses.” Officers first came upon an apartment with 28 illegal residents, which led them to two additional apartments–one with 11 residents and another with three. The Gazans were detained and transferred for questioning to the Nazareth police station. Forces also confiscated a “commercial quantity” of goods whose ownership is unknown, police say, without specifying the nature of the seized property. |
