The 1263rd day of the Russian Federation's large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 163 combat clashes were recorded over the past day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informs.
Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile and 74 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using three missiles and dropping 122 guided bombs. In addition, 5,089 kamikaze drones were used to destroy them and 6,361 attacks were carried out on the positions of our troops and settlements.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Bilogirya, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv in Zaporizhia region and Olhivka in Kherson region.
Yesterday, the Defense Forces' aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck three command posts, one artillery system, five areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment, as well as one other important enemy facility.
There were 12 clashes in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day. The enemy carried out 15 air strikes, dropped a total of 38 guided bombs, and carried out 259 artillery attacks, including 11 from multiple rocket launchers.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, nine clashes occurred in the Vovchansk area and in the direction of Novovasylivka.
Seven attacks by the invaders were recorded in the Kupyansk direction during the day. The defense forces repelled the enemy's assault actions in the areas of Myrne, Kupyansk, Golubivka and in the direction of Novaya Kruglyakivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 24 times, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Hrekivka, Karpivka, Zarichne, Kolodyazi, Torske, Dibrova, Serebryanka, Yampolivka, as well as towards Shandryholovy and Yampol.
In the Siverskyi direction, the enemy twice attacked the positions of the Defense Forces near Hryhorivka and Fedorivka.
Over the past day, four clashes took place in the Kramatorsk direction in the area of Chasovy Yar and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 10 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, Katerynivka, Stepanivka, Rusyn Yar, and Pleshchiivka.
In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 45 attacks by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Zvirovo, Volodymyrivka, Rodynske, Poltavka, Boykivka, Myrolyubivka, Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk, Chervonyi Lyman, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoukrainka, Zelenyi Kut, as well as in the Kozatsky, Dorozhny, and Novopavlivka directions.
In the Novopavlivske direction, the Defense Forces repelled 26 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Filiya, Zelene Pole, Tolstoy, Temyrivka, Maliivka, Novopil, Voskresenka, Olhivske and in the direction of Sichneve.
In the Hulyaipil direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled an enemy assault near Malynivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four attacks by the invader in the Kamianskyi area and towards Novoandriivka.
In the Dnieper direction last week, the Defense Forces successfully repelled eight enemy attacks. The enemy was unsuccessful.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, actively undermining the aggressor's offensive potential in the rear.
In total, the losses of the Russian invaders last day amounted to 940 people. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized five tanks, one armored combat vehicle, 41 artillery systems, one air defense system, 147 unmanned aerial vehicles of the operational-tactical level, and 125 units of automotive equipment of the invaders.
