Watch: Victim of Infamous Cincinnati Attack Speaks Out, Counters DEI-Supporting Police Chief''s Claims — RedState
2025-08-09
[REDSTATE] The woman who was brutally beaten in downtown Cincinnati by a mob of men is speaking out for the first time, describing the attack and lambasting the city's leadership for how they've handled the case.

Holly, who is currently choosing to only go by her first name, showed physical signs of the ordeal while speaking to Fox News' Laura Ingraham, with visible bruises under her eye and on her cheek. She went on to talk about what led up to the assault that left her on her back, bleeding in the street.

According to Holly, the group of attackers, who were black, hurled racist insults at her and those she was with.
... though we all know that black folk can't be racist...
HOLLY: When we came outside, there were some racist comments. I guess some of the people that we were with were from the country of Russia, and there were a bunch of Russian comments, and some people saying they wanted to beat up the Russians. And then there were some comments about, you know, "White people shouldn't be out here" or "We're gonna go night night, you white bleep words."

So, you know, definitely it was a little scary, yeah, there were, it was just an attack that should have never happened, and there were a lot of people in the attack, now that some of the people have been arrested, they have rap sheets that go on for days, especially the man who punched me in the face. He had just gotten out of jail a few months before and had felonies on him, and I don't understand why he was running the streets, and a lot of other people should have never been out of jail to even do this to me or the others.
So she was not a Russian, after all.
After the attack, Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge appeared to take the side of the attackers, claiming that the videos that had gone viral lacked context and were a "distorted" version of the events. She has still not provided any evidence for her claim, and, notably, Theetge is an outspoken proponent of DEI. That provides a window into her views regarding policing and racial politics.

She also didn't bother to reveal in her press conference that the alleged attackers had previous criminal records, including acts of violence. That would have gone against her implication that this attack was somehow instigated by Holly and was not an indictment of her failed leadership.
