[Korrespondent] The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk direction. There, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already repelled 19 attacks near eight populated areas.
Since the beginning of the day, 87 combat clashes have occurred on the front in 11 directions. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational report as of 16:00 on Wednesday, August 6.
Thus, in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions, 11 battles have taken place since the beginning of the day, two of which are still ongoing.
In Yuzhno-Slobodskoye, Ukrainian units repelled one attack in the Vovchansk area.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked eight times in the areas of the settlements of Golubovka, Tischenkovka, Zagrizovo, in the directions of Kupyansk and Kurilovka. One combat clash continues.
In the Liman direction, the invading army carried out seven attacks in the areas of the settlements of Ridkodub, Karpovka, Shandrigolovo, Sredneye, Torskoye, in the direction of the settlement of Grigorovka. At present, one combat clash is ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy attacked seven times near Grigorovka, Pereyezdnoye and Vyyomka. Two clashes are ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy's offensive near the settlement of Novomarkovoe has been stopped.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians have stormed the areas of the settlements of Aleksandro-Shultino, Toretsk, Katerinovka, Shcherbinovka, Rusin Yar and Yablunovka seven times. One clash continues.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 22 attacks near the settlements of Vladimirivka, Novoekonomicheskoe, Mirolyubovka, Lisovka, Mirnograd, Zvirovo, Udachnoye, Novoukrainka. The defense forces repelled 19 assaults.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, our soldiers stopped eight assaults by the occupation army in the areas of the settlements of Filiya, Novopol, Zeleny Gai, Poddubnoye, Tolstoy, Voskresenka, and Maliyevka. Another clash continues.
There were five military clashes in the Dnieper direction. The enemy had no success.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Gulyai-Polye and Orekhov directions.
Let us recall that in the course of 24 hours on August 5, Russia lost more than 1,000 fighters killed and wounded. The total number of Russian losses is approaching 1.1 million people.
