[KavkazUzel] Three suspected militants planning an attack on law enforcement officers in the republic have been killed in Kabardino-Balkaria.
According to the FSB, a group of three followers of a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation was preparing an attack on security forces in Kabardino-Balkaria. They were killed during the arrest.
"When detained, the perpetrators offered armed resistance and were neutralized by return fire. There were no losses among law enforcement personnel," RIA Novosti quotes the FSB statement as saying.Â
As of 09:50 Moscow time, the Russian FSB website did not contain any information about the terrorist attack that had been prevented in Kabardino-Balkaria.
Let us recall that in July the FSB reported on the prevention of a terrorist attack in Rostov-on-Don. A citizen of Central Asia intended to kill a high-ranking military officer in Rostov-on-Don using a homemade explosive device. The suspect was arrested.
