[Korrespondent] The occupiers are unable to maintain a stable intensity of military operations, but their level of activity remains quite high.
In the second half of July, Russian occupation forces reduced the intensity of assault operations. According to the DeepState analytical project, at the beginning of July, the Russian army conducted about 186 assaults per day, and by the end of the month, this figure had decreased to 171. In the first two days of August, the number of assault operations decreased to 155 per day.
DeepState analysts note that the occupiers are not capable of maintaining a stable intensity of military operations, but their level of activity remains quite high.
On the other hand, the nature of the fighting has changed noticeably. The analytical report specifies that the enemy most often resorts to attacks in small groups of 2-3 people, in contrast to last year's massive assaults of groups of up to 50 people. Also, Russian troops increasingly use the tactic of covert movements under camouflage for several hours or even days to reach Ukrainian positions.
Analysts add that one should not forget about propaganda-based actions - attempts to seize territory solely for the sake of creating a media effect, despite significant losses.
According to the data of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from the beginning of the day and as of 22:00, 153 combat clashes have occurred on the front. Russian troops continue to put the strongest pressure on the Pokrovsk direction.
Let us recall that at present the most difficult situation is on the front in the Pokrovsk, Dobropolsk and Novopavlovsk directions, where the Russians are resorting to the tactics of "total infiltration" with an increase in sabotage actions in the Ukrainian rear.
