| Israel delivers food, other aid to Druze in southern Syria |

| [IsraelTimes] Israel says it is delivering “urgent” humanitarian aid to the Druze community in the southern Syrian province of Sweida, following sectarian clashes in the region earlier this month. The aid package includes NIS 2 million ($580,000) worth of food, medical supplies, and first aid kits for “areas directly impacted by the violent attacks,” according to the Foreign Ministry. Israel’s Health Ministry previously delivered aid to the Druze on July 20. The Foreign Ministry says it also sent an aid package in March. |
