[Regnum] Several people were killed when a passenger train derailed in southwestern Germany. This was reported on July 27 in the German newspaper Bild.
The tragedy occurred at around 6pm local time in Baden-Württemberg, near Zwiefaltendorf in the Biberach district. Two carriages of a passenger train derailed.
"The train was heading from Sigmaringen to Ulm. At the time of the accident, there were 100 people on the train. At least three of them were injured. At the moment, no information can be given about the severity of their injuries," the local police told the publication.
Part of the train lies on its side, the roof of the trains is open. The carriages, which are completely derailed, lie in a wooded embankment between the trees.
