Democratic Party effort to highlight ''record high'' grocery prices completely backfires |
2025-07-26 |
[NYPOST] The Democratic National Committee (DNC (If you're white you ain't right!) ...Democrat National Committee, where all those off-the-wall talking points originate... ) drew widespread mockery Thursday over a since-deleted social media post that showed how the cost of groceries skyrocketed under former President Joe The Big GuyBiden ...46th president of the U.S. You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier... The X post included a graph of soaring cheese, alcohol, dairy, grocery, produce and meat prices dating back to October 2019, with the major inflection point being near the start of the Biden administration in 2021. ''Trump's America,'' read the tweet shared by @TheDemocrats ![]() white people, white supremacy, whiteanything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nastyto the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... ''Prices are higher today than they were on July 2024 all in major categories listed below,'' read the caption on the graphic, which did not note the source of the data. The White House rapid response X account seized on the post — adding a ''Biden'' label with two arrows pointing to the price jumps under the previous administration. The Biden-era price surges — highlighted in red by the White House — took up the majority of the graph, whereas the more stable cost of goods under Trump was only a sliver of the chart. Several people on social media pointed out the ''self-own'' by the Democratic Party. ''I don't know — Kinda looks like Biden's America,'' X user Matthew Rosario noted. Conservative podcaster Kyle Becker described the tweet as ''one of the dumbest posts in @X history,'' noting that the DNC deleted it ''after getting ratioed into oblivion.'' Popular X personality ''Greg'' said the tweet ''might be the biggest self-own I've ever seen on this website.'' Under Biden, inflation surged to rates unseen since the early 1980s, peaking at an annual rate of 9.1% in June 2022 — 17 months after he took office. By the end of Biden's term in the White House, the cost of food had ballooned more than 22% from the time he took the oath of office, federal data shows. Meanwhile, ...back at the pond, the enormous newt was trying to decide if Gloria was edible... under Trump, food prices have increased by about 0.6% since January. |

#5 They have no idea whatsoever how to read a graph — I am truly shocked. This goes well beyond DEI to base nepotism — give a job to the dropout druggie nephew to keep your demanding sister happy. Even Hunter isn’t this dumb. |

#4 This is what happens when you hire DEI idiots to run your intel operation. |

#3 The background problem here is they didn't know how bad they had screwed everything up. Totally unaware. Whether it was immigration, consumer goods, the economy, jobs, the military or whatever. They had a 'brilliant' idea that they knew a better way, and just did it. Didn't matter if it worked or not, do it some more. It's kinda like going to your kiddies' play dinner, being given a mudpie, and you're supposed to pretend to like it. |

#2 That was positively the dumbest attempt to smear anyone that I have seen. The morons provide a graph of their incompetence. |

#1 So the LSD's mistakenly admit they caused it. Our food package costs jumped about 18% to 21% and the package contents sizes conveniently changed as the shelves became bear, and then started to reappear. Now we see even the content ingredients have changed also. Now to add to it, many local governments have stepped in, and jack up the property taxes based on the inflated housing prices. Houses that are slow to sell because the Federal Reserve is keeping the Home Loan prices high. Either way, nothing tastes the same, and the COLA's never kept up with real costs. I figure we roughly lost 15+% of our buying income to higher cost of living issues caused by the LSD's. |
