[Korrespondent] The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been fighting in nine directions since the beginning of the day.
The most active fighting continues in the Pokrovsk direction. There, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are repelling Russian assaults in the areas of 11 populated areas.
Since the beginning of the day, 92 combat clashes have occurred on the front. A relative calm has set in in four directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational report as of 16:00 on Thursday, July 24.
Thus, in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions, the Defense Forces have repelled 14 Russian attacks since the beginning of the day. Another four combat clashes are ongoing.
In the Yuzhno-Slobodskoy direction, the enemy advanced three times near the settlements of Vovchansk, Petro-Ivanovka and Kamenskoye. All attacks were repelled.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance four times near Stepova Novoselovka, Zagrizovy, Zeleny Gai and towards Velyka Shapkovka. One combat clash continues.
In the Liman direction, the invaders attacked 16 times near the settlements of Grekovka, Novy Mir, Yampolivka, Torskoye and in the direction of the settlements of Dronovka, Shandrigolovo, Cherneshchina, Sredneye. Four combat clashes continue.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers carried out 25 assaults in the areas of the settlements of Rusin Yar, Mirnoye, Mirnohrad, Novoekonomicheskoye, Lisovka, Zvirovoye, Kotlin, Udachnoye, Dachnoye and in the direction of the settlements of Vladimirivka and Pokrovsk. Five combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the aggressor attacked eight times near the settlements of Poddubnoye, Maliyevka, Voskresenka - in the direction of Temirovka and Aleksandrovgrad. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Orekhov direction, the occupiers once attacked in the Stepnogorsk area.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy attacked five times in the direction of Dnieprovsk, Sadovy and Dnieprovsk.
At the same time, no active offensive actions by the enemy were recorded today in the Seversky, Kramatorsk, Toretsky and Gulyai-Polye directions.
Let us recall that in the course of 24 hours on July 23, Russia lost more than 1,000 soldiers at the front. The total number of Russian losses is approaching 1.1 million people.
