[Regnum] Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Oleksandr Syrsky, nicknamed "butcher" by Ukrainian fighters, sent an assault group to certain death in the Kharkiv region. This was reported on July 17 by Russian security agencies.
“The command sent an assault group from the hastily transferred 22nd separate motorized rifle brigade to the slaughter,” RIA Novosti quoted a representative of the security forces as saying.
The source added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters were ordered to drive the Russian military out of the village of Melove at any cost. The enemy's movements were detected by Russian intelligence. The Russian Armed Forces soldiers blocked the Ukrainian stormtroopers and offered them to surrender, but they still went on the attack and suffered heavy losses.
