| #11 If you find that you really cannot do without Mexicans to harvest your marijuana, it might be possible to re-institute the old bracero program in which they came to work the until the harvest was finished and then returned to their homes in Mexico. That way we know who and how many are coming and we know they don't come to stay...or to vote for Democrats in our elections. |

| #9 ^ But surely you've heard of human trafficking, right? Human trafficking of unaccompanied minors? Maybe you think it's not so bad if a 15-year-old sneaks across the border to work on a farm (pot or otherwise). But with all the unemployment among American citizens, I am of the opinion that American citizens are not too good for farm labor. |

| #8 "Unaccompanied minors found working at a pot farm in violation of child labor laws" I really do not understand this line of thought other than the notion & argument that pot is bad, therefore everything associated with pot is bad. Pot is an agricultural product and our Great American Literary Authors like Steinbeck wrote novel upon novel with themes regarding the MX Migrant Farmer Border Culture especially migrant farmers in Cali's Center Valley. Whole MX families have harvested American crops for centuries. It is nothing new. And now people act like they never heard or read about this part of US history before. I tend to not disdain the things that worked for our Forefathers. |
