[Korrespondent] Russian troops have carried out more than 4,200 attacks on positions of our troops and populated areas since the beginning of the day.
There have been 135 combat clashes at the front so far. The hottest situation is in the Pokrovsky, Limansky, Toretsky and Kursk directions. This was indicated in the General Staff report on Sunday, April 6.
The enemy launched one missile strike (23 missiles) and 63 air strikes, dropping in particular 104 UABs, used 718 kamikaze drones for destruction, and carried out more than 4,200 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
In the Kharkov direction, the enemy attacked twice in the area of ​​Volchansk and in the direction of Kamenka. The enemy carried out air strikes on Berezovka, Kazachya Lopan, Zolochiv and Dvorichanskoye.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried to advance towards our positions near the settlements of Peschanoye, Novaya Kruglyakovka, Boguslavka, Zagrizovoye six times during the day; Ukrainian units repelled five attacks, and another battle continues.
In the Liman direction, the enemy attacked 20 times in the areas of the settlements of Novoyegorovka, Novoye, Kolodtsy, Yampolovka, Nadezhda and in the directions of Novomikhaylovka, Novosergeevka, Torskoye, Ridkodub, Novoye. Our soldiers stopped 14 attacks of the invaders, another six battles are still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the Defense Forces repelled two assault actions by enemy troops in the Belogorovka area.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 17 offensive actions against the positions of our troops in the areas of Dachnoye, Dilievka, Toretsk and Leonidovka, and one combat clash is still ongoing.
Thus, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has tried 42 times to penetrate our defenses in the Pokrovsk direction in the areas of the settlements of Sukhaya Balka, Kalinovoye, Udachnoye, Elizavetovka, Lysovka, Kotlyarovka, Preobrazhenka, Andreyevka, Bogdanovka, Vodyanoye Vtoroy, Kotlino, Uspenovka; five combat clashes are currently ongoing. The occupiers carried out air strikes with guided bombs in the areas of the settlements of Berestok, Pokrovsk, Zarya, Grodivka, Kotlinoye, Novopavlovka.
The occupiers' losses in this direction today amount to 241 people killed and wounded; in addition, five MTLB tractors, six cars, ten motorcycles, seven tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle and one UAV control point were destroyed, and the Russian invaders' weapons were also significantly damaged.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, today Ukrainian soldiers repelled three attacks of the occupation army in the areas of the settlements of Razliv, Constantinople, another combat clash is still ongoing. Odradnoe, Komar, Mirnoe were subjected to air strikes.
In the Gulyai-Polye direction, the enemy attacked our defenders' positions three times in the areas of Privilnoye and Volnoye Pole. Gulyai-Polye came under air strike.
In the Orekhov direction, our defenders successfully repelled four enemy attacks in the directions of Shcherbakov, Malye Shcherbakov and Kamenskoye. Novopavlovka, Orekhov and Novoandreyevka were subjected to air strikes by UABs.
One unsuccessful attempt by the enemy to reach the Ukrainian positions was repelled by our defenders in the Dnieper direction.
There were 29 combat clashes in the Kursk direction today, four of which are still ongoing. The enemy carried out 16 air strikes and dropped 17 UABs, carried out 178 artillery attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, including 13 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Separately, for their effective and professional combat work, the General Staff noted the soldiers of the 47th Mechanized Brigade, the 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade, and the 140th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the Marines, who effectively destroy the enemy, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment.
We remind you that in one day, Ukrainian military destroyed 1,330 Russian occupiers, four multiple launch rocket systems and 56 artillery systems.
Let us add that operators of the 14th separate SBS UAV regiment destroyed three enemy air defense systems in two weeks: two Buk air defense systems of unspecified modifications and a Tor air defense system in the Donetsk direction.
