The occupation forces are advancing in the Liman area, especially in the Novoye-Katerinovka-Nevskoye area. The Russians have an advantage in drones and strike capabilities, which worsens the situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported on Sunday evening, April 6, by the Deep State project.
"The situation along the Novoye-Katerinovka-Nevskoye section continues to escalate, and the enemy is advancing, having an advantage in the area. In particular, assault operations are being carried out in the direction of Novomikhaylovka, and in the Nevskoye area the enemy has had success. The Russians have also had success in the Novoye area, and constant pressure is being exerted on Katerinovka," the statement says.
Deep State notes that the situation in this segment is not the best for the Defense Forces. The project analysts see the reasons for this situation in the "ineffective use of resources of the brigade that holds the area of ​​responsibility", poor situational awareness and the advantage of the Russians in drones and the ability to destroy. In addition, the Russian infantry is constantly putting pressure on the positions of the Ukrainian military.
"The situation is deteriorating and needs to be saved. The battle line in this area is undergoing certain changes," Deep State reports.
The project also reported on the advance of the occupiers near Zapadnoye (Kharkiv region), in Lisovka and Razliv (Donetsk region).
In the evening, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in the Liman direction, during the day, the enemy attacked 20 times in the areas of the settlements of Novoyegorovka, Novoye, Kolodyazi, Yampolovka, Nadezhda and in the directions of Novomikhaylovka, Novosergeevka, Torskoye, Redkodub, Novoye. Ukrainian soldiers stopped 14 attacks by the invaders.
Let us recall that over the previous day, Ukrainian military personnel destroyed 1,330 Russian occupiers, four multiple launch rocket systems and 56 artillery systems.
