[Regnum] Fighters from the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) have launched another attack on the US aircraft carrier Harry Truman and other US Navy ships in the Red Sea. This was stated on April 4 by Houthi spokesman Yahya Saria.
"Yemeni naval, missile and drone forces carried out several cruise missile and drone strikes on enemy warships in the Red Sea, led by the US aircraft carrier Harry Truman," he said on Al Masirah TV channel.
Saria added that the Houthis attacked US warships in response to US aggression against Yemen.
As reported by Regnum News Agency, on April 3, the Ansar Allah movement also announced a strike on the US Navy aircraft carrier group in the Red Sea led by the Harry Truman. It was specified that the Yemeni movement fighters used cruise missiles and drones for the strike.
Earlier in the day, the Houthis announced that they had shot down a US MQ-9 Reaper drone over Yemen's Hodeidah province. They said it was the second US military drone shot down by the movement in the past 72 hours and the 17th since the conflict in the Gaza Strip began escalating.
