House Censure for Al Green: Protest Disrupts Congress / X

[X] Congressman Al Green (D-TX) was censured by the U.S. House of Representatives on March 6, 2025, for disrupting President Donald Trump's address to Congress.

The vote, which was largely along party lines, resulted in a 224-198 decision to formally reprimand Green, with ten Democrats joining the Republicans. This action was taken following Green's vocal protest against policies affecting Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security during the President's speech.

#1  IF the reading of the "censure" into the record was interrupted, did it actually take place?

Also, why shouldn't those who joined him in the well and sang also be charged/censured with disrupting the official business of the chamber?
