[Korrespondent] Almost half of the clashes took place in the Pokrovsky direction.
The enemy remains highly active in the Pokrovsky direction. There, Russian troops have already attacked the Ukrainian Armed Forces positions 62 times.
Since the beginning of the day, there have been 125 combat clashes on the front. Our defenders are stopping the enemy, holding the lines and ruining the plans of the Russians. This was stated in the General Staff report on Sunday, January 19.
During these days, the enemy from the territory of the Russian Federation carried out artillery shelling of the areas of the settlements of Progress, Romanovka, Grabovskoye, Pokrovka in the Sumy region; Lemesheno in the Kharkov region; Leonovka, Medvedevka, Berilovka in the Chernihiv region. The settlements of Aleksandrivka in the Sumy region and Gremyach in the Chernihiv region were subjected to airstrikes with unguided air missiles.
In the Kharkov direction, with the support of attack aircraft, the enemy twice unsuccessfully attacked the positions of the Defense Forces near the settlement of Volchansk, and also carried out an airstrike in the area of ​​the settlement of Volchanskie Khutor.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance towards our positions in the areas of Stroyevka, Peschanoye, Kolesnikovka, Zagryzovoye and Lozovaya seven times during the day; four attacks were successfully repelled, and three more clashes are ongoing.
In the Limansky direction, 14 armed clashes occurred near Novoegorovka, Nadezhda, Novosergeevka, Novosadovoye, Zarechny, Kolodtsy, Zelenaya Dolina, Terny and in Serebryanskoye forestry. Seven armed clashes are still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy carried out offensive operations in the areas of Ivano-Daryevka and Verkhnekamenskoye; both attacks were successfully repelled by our defenders.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked seven times in the area of ​​Chasovy Yar and Belaya Gora, and five combat clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the invaders attacked 17 times in the areas of Toretsk, Dilievka and Shcherbinovka. Eleven attacks were successfully repelled by our defenders, six combat clashes are still ongoing.

Today, clashes of varying intensity have broken out 62 times near the settlements of Zelenoye Pole, Aleksandropol, Vodyanoye Vtoroy, Yelizavetovka, Mirolyubovka, Promin, Lisovka, Mirnograd, Pokrovsk, Zverevo, Shevchenko, Udachnoye, Uspenovka, Kotlino, Nadeyevka, Novotroetskoye, Novoandreyevka, Slavyanka, Petrovpavlovka, Andreyevka, Dachnoye, Ulakly and Yantarnoye, fifteen clashes are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the aggressor attacked 12 times in the areas of Constantinople and Velikaya Novosyolka, currently four combat clashes are ongoing. The enemy launched an air strike with unguided missiles on Novopolye.
The enemy did not conduct any active operations in the Gulyai-Polye, Orekhov and Dnieper directions .
In the Kursk direction, Ukrainian defenders are repelling one attack by the invaders; in total, four combat clashes have already been recorded. The enemy carried out two air strikes with two guided bombs on populated areas and positions of the Defense Forces. In addition, it carried out 196 artillery attacks, including five from multiple launch rocket systems.
Let us recall that on January 18, the losses of Russian troops in Ukraine amounted to 1,580 people killed and wounded . Russia's total losses since the beginning of the war have approached 820 thousand people.
