#14  True.

And its going to backfire on them, no pun intended, as they can't bury the story as a local news story or celebrity marriage topic.

#13  How is this any different than normal there?

Because this is happening to the 'elite folks' and not the plebeian classes.

#12  How is this any different than normal there? Gangs routinely clean out stores with no repercussions? Why are they so twitterpated about it now?

#11  Saw the X-posted video of the LA's ____ Men yesterday removing items in a hurry with a fire already at the house behind it, early this morning.

The comments and captions read, that they were helping their friend move his stuff to a safe location. ☺

But, now, think of this in another way.
Insurance company will cover the house and X-amount $$$ for the contents - minus the usual +/- $1,000 deductible?

Could they be offsetting the deductible ?

#5  I was going to ask "How come there is a pic of an African-American as looter?", but I see that the post was removed.

#4  You mean this time, as opposed to last time.

#3  Looting during a disaster should be a summary death sentence

#2  This is true.

Evacuees are being told to leave their residency unlocked in case emergency services need access, which of course encourages such things.
