| IDF: Fighter jets struck Hamas cells at command centers in two former schools in Gaza City |

| [IsraelTimes] Israeli fighter jets struck groups of Hamas operatives at command centers embedded within two former schools in Gaza City a short while ago, the military says. According to the IDF, the Hamas members were using the al-Karama and Shaaban schools in the Tuffah neighborhood to plan and carry out attacks against troops in Gaza and against Israel. The schools were serving as shelters for displaced Palestinians. Palestinian media report at least 15 dead in the strikes. The IDF says it took steps to mitigate harm to civilians in the strikes, including by using precision munitions, aerial surveillance, and other intelligence. |
