Back in August 2024. The NEW Mayor of Thomson, Ga. called for a Financial Audit.

It seems certain persons of the former forever in office mayor and the county legal system wanted him gone, to halt the probes and audits.
So they arranged for the new Mayor's political arrest using fabricated evidence. Evidence, that it seems the County DA office did not question to any normal degree.
Ga Gov. Kemp suspended the Mayor and the temp mayor seemed a better fit for the local power brokers.
A few months later, the case finally made it to court. The jury heard the case and the Mayor was quickly found innocent of all charges.
Jurors interviewed exiting the courthouse were abundantly clear.
Everything in the DA's case stunk to political high heaven.
Basic evidence was never collected, and only verbal stated.
Several guessed, because it was assumed to be a slam dunk due to those pushing the case.

Why was the GBI following the Mayor around to begin with?
