[Korrespondent] Ukrainian Armed Forces Contain Russian Attacks in Eastern and Southern Ukraine.
The enemy has organized the largest number of attacks in the Pokrovsky direction. Five combat clashes are currently ongoing there.
Since the beginning of the day, 118 combat clashes have occurred on the front. Russian aggressors are conducting active actions in the Pokrovsky, Kurakhovsky and Vremevsky directions, as well as in the Kursk region. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a report as of 16:00 on Friday, November 22.
Thus, in the Kursk region, the Russians carried out 19 attacks. They also carried out four airstrikes on their own territory, dropping four UABs.
In the Kharkov direction, the enemy twice stormed the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Volchansk area.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Russians are trying to advance in the area of ​​Zelenaya Roshcha. There is one combat clash there.
In the Liman direction, the aggressor advanced 12 times near Grekovka, Novoegorovka, Makeyevka, Torskoye and Terny. One combat clash continues.
In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders are repelling an attack in the Stupochki area.
In the Toretsk direction, the invaders attacked three times in the Toretsk region. Two attacks were repelled, and one battle is still ongoing.
The Pokrovsky direction has the largest number of battles - 29. The Russians tried to advance at Mirolyubovka, Promenya, Lisovka, Sukhoi Yar, Pustynka, Grigoryevka, Dachenskoye, Petrovka and Pushkin. Five battles are currently ongoing.
The situation in the Kurakhovsky direction remains tense. Near Berestki, Solntsovka, Novodmitrovka, Kurakhovoye, Yekaterinovka, Romanovka and Antonovka, 11 assaults have been repelled, and 10 more battles are currently ongoing.
In the Vremivsky direction, the aggressor is trying to advance near Trudovoye, Konstantinopolskoye, Razliv, Razdolnoye, Sukhi Yal and Novodarovka. 14 attacks have already been repelled, nine are still ongoing.
In the Dnieper direction, our defenders repelled three enemy attacks.
