The earthquake occurred at 08:36 Moscow time, its epicenter was located 54 km southwest of the city of Karaveli. The epicenter was located at a depth of 42 km.
There were no reports of damage. A tsunami threat of up to three meters high was declared.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, on June 23, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 occurred in Kamchatka. Seismologists recorded tremors 46 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in the Pacific Ocean. The source was located at a depth of 127 km.
