| [BLAZE] Republican Sen. Mike Lee of Utah is sounding the alarm about the massive interest on the nation's debt. "We're so screwed. And glued. Also tattooed. Interest will top $1.1 trillion this year. That's what decades of reckless, hegemonic rule by The Uniparty™️ does," Lee tweeted. "It's time to clean house." The senator made the comments in response to a post by E.J. Antoni, "Research Fellow in the Heritage Foundation's Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget," who had tweeted, "Interest on the debt is going to the moon: Treasury now projects it will cost over $1.1 trillion during the current fiscal year." |
