A man of strong opinions, and a willingness to match overbroad, deliberately shocking statements with more of the same. Perhaps it’s just as well he has no power in Israel... He makes the remark after being confronted on Capitol Hill by the activist who told the Tennessee lawmaker that her “tax payer dollars are going to bomb those kids [in Gaza].”
Ogles was one of several Republican representatives who introduced legislation that would prohibit the US from accepting potential Palestinian refugees displaced by the war in Gaza.
