2023-10-09 |
[Jpost] Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is calling for a rapid de-escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as its widening would have "incalculable consequences", her office said on Monday. Meloni expressed her concerns in a call with Lebanese counterpart Najib Mikati, in which she confirmed Italy's support for Lebanon's security and stability "at this delicate juncture". You tell me this women is a conservative? |

#4 There will be an effort by the New World Order to hamstring the Israeli response. It won’t work. This lesson will last 100 years. |

#3 ^Nothing threatens her peacekeepers. UNIFIL have very good bunkers where they hide whenever IDF reponds to Hizballah attacks (needless to say UNIFIL never ever interfere with Hizballah). |

#2 You have to see the statement in the context of the conversation between her and Lebanon where Italy has 11000 UN peacekeepers Also the sad reality that Europe is now the Arab Street and these wars do come home |

#1 'Incalculable' is a big word. I would argue that the regional consequences will be merely administrative - Gaza will be zoned as Uninhabitable. |
