In the Mariinsky direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Maryinka and Krasnohorivka districts of the Donetsk region.

The occupiers launched missile and 31 air strikes, fired 45 rocket salvo fire systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
Instead, the aviation of the Defense Forces made nine strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy. During the day, units of missile forces and artillery hit two areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy, four artillery means in firing positions, two control points and two electronic warfare stations.

on the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly;
on Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi , the Russians carried out airstrikes in the Krasnaya Zora and Veterinarny districts of the Kharkiv region. The enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on more than 20 settlements, in particular, Yeline, Leonivka, Vilchyki, Mykolaivske of Chernihiv region; Rozhkovichi, Iskryskivshchyna, Turya, Pokrovka, Ryasne of the Sumy region and Chervona Zorya, Gatishche, Vovchanski Khutory, Budarky in the Kharkiv region;
in Kupyansk, the occupiers conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Sinkivka district of the Kharkiv region. Airstrikes were carried out in the Kislivka and Berestovo districts of the Kharkiv region. The settlements of Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Masyutivka, Kislivka, Berestov of the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar attacks;
on Lymanskyi, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of ​​Bilogorivka, Luhansk region.
He carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bilogorivka, Luhansk Region, and Spirnyi, Donetsk Region. About 10 settlements were hit by artillery fire from the enemy, in particular, Nevske, Chervonopivka of the Luhansk Region and Verkhnyokamianske, Svyat Pokrovske, Spirne, Rozdolivka of the Donetsk Region;
on Bakhmutsky, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area northeast of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Donetsk region. Conducted airstrikes in Klishchiivka and Andriivka districts of Donetsk region. More than 15 settlements were damaged by enemy artillery fire, including Minkivka, Bogdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Klishchiivka, Shcherbynivka of the Donetsk region;
in Avdiivskyi, the Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area southeast and east of Novokalinov, Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements, including Keramik, Stepove, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Netaylovye of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery fire;
in Marinsky, the occupiers launched an airstrike in the Krasnohorivka district of the Donetsk region. The settlements of Krasnohorivka, Pobyeda, Kostyantynivka, Halytsynivka, Katerynivka of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire;
on Shakhtarsky, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to restore the lost position in the Urozhany region of Donetsk region. He carried out an air strike in the Staromayorsky district. More than 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Bogoyavlenka, Zolota Niva, Blagodatne, Staromayorske, Rivnopil of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery fire;
in Zaporizhzhia, the enemy carried out an air strike in the Robotyne region of Zaporizhzhia region. More than 15 settlements were affected by enemy artillery fire, including Novodarivka, Malynivka, Gulyaipole, Charivne, Mali Shcherbaki, Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region;
in the Kherson region , more than 10 settlements were damaged by enemy artillery fire, among them Zolota Balka, Respublikanets, Odradokamyanka, Veletenske, Novodmytrivka, Sofiivka of the Kherson region, and Luparevo of the Mykolaiv region.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, are entrenched at the achieved boundaries, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.
We will remind you that the Russians have now attacked the residential quarters of Virivka, Berislav District, Kherson Oblast. A 17-year-old girl was injured. The occupiers also dropped explosives from a drone on Beryslav. As a result, two people were injured.
On the night of August 18, the enemy shelled the village of Komyshuvakha, Zaporizhzhia region . As a result of the attack, an educational institution was destroyed, houses were damaged.
