2 would-be Texas ATM robbers 'slipped the surly bonds of Earth' |
2023-07-10 |
[Blaze] Two would-be robbers allegedly attempted a stickup of a Texas man at an ATM in broad daylight. Little did they know it would be the last thing they ever did because the armed man shot both would-be thieves dead, police said. Around 1 p.m. on July 7, a man in his 20s went to the ATM at a Chase Bank in the southside of San Antonio, Texas. While attempting to withdraw money at the drive-thru ATM the man said two people drove toward him. The two men were also in their 20s. One individual got out of the car, and the alleged victim believed he was about to be robbed. The man withdrawing money drew his gun and shot both men. The suspected robbers both died in the parking lot, according to authorities. San Antonio Police Department Chief William McManus said during a press conference, "It was a robbery that didn’t go well for the robbers." |

#8 Unlikely in Houston, we see this sort of thing every week. The prosecutors are too scared to do that since they know the grand jury or jury will not convict. Instead they concentrate on letting the criminals go, so a few dead ones they don't care about. |

#5 If this had happened in New York or California, he would have been charged with two counts of murder. Or in Austin, Houston, etc. |

#3 Looked at a dozen on-line stories. Media release nearly identical in all 12. Same info, "2 men in their twenties." End of description. No names, no fotos. Yes, I also call it news censorship. In other news: "On May 24, 2022, a mass shooting occurred at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, United States, where 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, a former student at the school, fatally shot 19 students and two teachers, while 17 others were injured but survived." |

#2 Any bets that ATM robberies drop off drastically in TX the next few weeks. The JUSTIFIED Shooter has likely saved many lives and billfolds by his actions. Anyone have any details about the Robbers? Because the MEDIA sure isn't sharing any demographics or possible previous criminal histories. |
