We here at FOX would certainly like to assist your 2024 election effort, would $787.m help ? |

![]() Della, what if we brought a defamation suit, but...... The stunning settlement emerged just as opening statements were supposed to begin, abruptly ending a case that had embarrassed Fox News over several months and raised the possibility that network founder Rupert Murdoch and stars such as Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity would have to testify publicly. "The truth matters. Lies have consequences," Dominion lawyer Justin Nelson told reporters outside a Delaware courthouse after Superior Court Judge Eric Davis announced the deal. Outside of the $787.5 million promised to Colorado-based Dominion, it was unclear what other consequences Fox would face. Fox acknowledged in a statement "the court’s rulings finding certain claims about Dominion to be false," but no apology was offered. |

#11 Whelp... that is enough to pay off 100 politicians. As Iran stated, "We aren't surprised we can pay off politicians. We are surprised they are so cheap." |

#10 From what I understand there was one guy who floated some crap stories about how Dominion machines were easily hacked and everyone sued was one that believed that and ran with it. All of this distracted from other issues that occurred during the election. It still surprises me that Fox News settled as a combination of discover and proof of malicious intent (or whatever the legal word is) would have played to Fox's hands. Then again Fox News is owned by the left leaning spawn of Murdoch so they were probably happy to pay. |

#9 Since we have the topic of Dominion and 2024 prospects both on the table, I want to bring up a point nobody seems to want to talk about. Was 2020 queerer than a $3 Transportation Secretary? Yes, yes it was. I have gone so far as to consider the 2018 results as a successful test run. That said, Trump lost 2020 if for any other reason and rhyme, he is not sitting as President at this moment. If it were to be Trump/Biden, and even if it took 95 million 'votes' for a Biden 'win', a Trump 'loss' to Biden already has precedent. |

#8 You can always tune in the con-servative treehouse for the "nobody but Trump, evah!" drool-a-thon. |

#7 Cripes, looks like Hannity has been living that Covid-Lifestyle. IIRC he was also a supporter of The Result. I mean, I guess Defense could put him up, "But here is a host who slobbers all over your one-arm bandit machines." Could be this was the actual goal of the whole exercise from the beginning. |

#6 Ken Paxton seems to be the only one willing to bring suit from within government. The Fox suit was an opportunity for discovery, but Fox is part of the system. |

#5 I still don't get why corporations such as Dominion are allowed to do business at law, other than the fact that they have bought & paid for legislatures at both state and federal levels. A drastic change in legislation supporting corporate actions has been overdue for more than a century now. Corporations are not people. Some corporations should be put to death. |

#1 Fox's Bongino and Dobbs? Oh, they've moved on. Thanks for inquiring. |
