  • Amin was convicted of supporting the Islamic State and was released in 2020

  • He has been re-arrested on suspicion of violation supervised release terms

  • Lindh has not been charged with violating parole for reasons that are unclear

  • He was sentenced to 20 years and released in 2019 after capture in Afghanistan
