- The market, located in the city's Tenderloin district, referred just 18 people in the first four months of it opening out of more than 23,000 visitors
- One official said the site was never meant to be permanent and closed in part due to the end of its $75,000 a month lease
- While some have pointed out the center offered resources to drug addicts, others have described it as a massive waste of taxpayer money
- City officials have yet to announce any new plans for similar sites
