[Hot Air] One of the most alarming aspects of the entire ongoing transgender debate, aside from the environment of indoctrination in our public schools, has been the trend of doctors being willing to medically intervene in the normal development of children to support their "transition." These interventions come in multiple forms, all of which can and do carry potential negative consequences for children. They include regular injections of unnatural hormones and even genital mutilation surgery and mastectomies. But perhaps even more alarming is the growing "popularity" of administering so-called "puberty-blocking" drugs to very young children as a way to prevent their natural gender from developing. Prominent American medical associations that have been infected with wokeness have largely remained silent about this practice. But perhaps that is starting to change. The FDA recently added a warning to the most commonly prescribed puberty-blockers, saying that they can cause "serious risks" for children who take them. (KATV News)
