[REGNUM] In the south of the Syrian province of Hasakah, on May 16, a US military base located in the Al-Shaddadi region was fired from mortars. It is reported by Al Mayadeen TV channel.
According to him, the shelling was carried out from the side of the Syrian-Iraqi border, most of the mines exploded in the vicinity of the base. Currently, American unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are intensively loitering over Ash Shaddadi and the border area.
Recall that since the beginning of the year, American military installations and camps in Syria have been shelled at least six times.
As REGNUM reported , units of the US armed forces in Syria carried out the export of a batch of oil illegally produced at one of the Syrian fields.
