| Police say they detained 501 Palestinians in Israel illegally over past day | |

| [IsraelTimes] Police say they have detained 501 Paleostinians who were in Israel illegally over the past day. Authorities have stepped up actions against illegals, as some have been involved in a recent wave of terror attacks against Israelis. The police say forces are operating "openly and clandestinely at all times" against illegal entry. It also says 51 people have been arrested for helping people to enter illegally, employing them or housing them.
