- Days earlier Trump was allegedly presented with a draft executive order that would have had the Defense Secretary seize voting machines
- It would have also seen a special counsel appointed to investigate baseless 2020 election fraud claims
- Rep. Thompson confirmed such a draft existed during an interview on Sunday
- 'A plan was put forward to potentially seize voting machines in the country and utilize Department of Defense assets to make that happen,' he said
