Gordon Liddy, known for his role in the Watergate scandal, died on Tuesday at his daughter's house in Virginia at the age of 90-years-old.According to the Washington Post, while the man's son Thomas P. Liddy confirmed his father's passing, he did not provide a cause of death but did note that it was not connected to coronavirus.
Liddy was "the undercover operative whose bungling of the Watergate break-in triggered one of the gravest constitutional crises in American history and led to the resignation of President Richard M. Nixon," according to the outlet.
