[Washington Examiner] Former FBI attorney Lisa Page is suing the Department of Justice and the FBI for violating her privacy by releasing her personal information to the public.Page, 39, announced her lawsuit over Twitter on Tuesday. The attorney alleges that the DOJ and the FBI’s release of text messages between her and then-FBI agent Peter Strzok violated Privacy Act provisions regulating the release of private information to the media.
"I sued the Department of Justice and FBI today," Page said. "I take little joy in having done so. But what they did in leaking my messages to the press was not only wrong, it was illegal."
