| h/t Instapundit Former ambassador Samantha Power credits her young son with teaching her not to be too proud of the speeches that won her prominence as an "impassioned" critic of Russian aggression. Shanty Irish Willem Dafoe lookalike "Did it work, Mommy?" Power’s 7-year-old son, Declan, asked after she described one particularly satisfying United Nations Security Council debate. That phrase alone tells you it's all posing "No, son. It only works on Americans because the poor fools think of us as 'fellow countrymen'. The Russians know we (leftists) are a bunch of destructive idiots who whatever looks good to us and never worry about the consequences! |
