German rescue ship heads to Malta after Italy blocks Lampedusa port | |

The sailboat Alex, carrying 41 migrants, declined a Maltese offer to go to Malta, as the Mediterranea NGO operating it said such a long journey would have been dangerous for the people aboard. The boat docked at the same quay where a week ago another charity vessel collided with an Italian police boat when it decided to bring migrants ashore after two weeks in international waters. | |

#1 The Alan Kurdi rescued the migrants colonists off the coast of Libya but refused to port in the North African country, saying the country wasn't safe and that international law required those rescued be brought to a safe port. If it was safe enough for them to embark from Libya then it is safe enough for them to return to it. And, BTW, why is it that Tripoli is no longer considered safe? Hmmmm. And if no place in Africa is safe then how safe is it to allow Africans to colonize Europe? ![]() I never get tired of this picture because it shows so well the duplicity and treachery of the EU leadership. |
