[DAILYCALLER] Flint, Michigan, said it will rescind a water-line repair contract offered to Goyette Mechanical, the lowest bidder and the only firm that has completed previous work on time. The mayor instead wants to give the contract to politically-connected WT Stevens, which Goyette says is so far behind on its previous work that residents may be kept waiting for two years. Mayor Karen Weaver’s top advisor previously ordered work to be steered to WT Stevens, threatening "trouble" if his order was disobeyed. That's called graft and should be prosecuted.
