...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....

"A force of the 53rd and 40th brigades of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) killed four Islamic State snuffies during a preemptive operation in the Sheikh Ibrahim mountain range, south of Tal Afar," Iraqi website Alghad Press quoted the paramilitary force as saying in a press statement.

Two hotbeds of the Islamic State terrorist group were also destroyed in the operation, the statement read.
