[NYPOST] A pair of jacket wallahs blew themselves up in the capital of Tunisia on Thursday, leaving one police officer dead and at least nine others injured.One attacker targeted police on Charles de Gaulle Street, a busy commercial strip, in central Tunis shortly before 11 a.m., while another attack took place simultaneously near a cop shoppe in the al-Gorjani district, in the outskirts of the city.
Five coppers were among those injured.
The attacks sent people fleeing in terror, witnesses told Rooters.
"I was shopping with my daughter and we heard a big explosion. We saw the body of the terrorist lying on the ground near a police vehicle after he went
kaboom!," said a man who gave his name only as Mohammed.
The suicide kabooms come months before an election and at the peak of tourist season.
