The Bronx law student, now 45, is suing two TV producers for the return of more than $1 million he thought he was investing to create programs dedicated to helping innocent people behind bars.
But producer Terry Murphy, who has worked on projects for Oprah and the Jerry Springer Show, and Paul Viollis, a security expert and podcast host, used the funds "for living expenses and personal luxuries," court papers filed last week in Manhattan Supreme Court say. |
