an ISIS Lion of Islam who had tortured for the terror group, the Interior Ministry announced.
"The intelligence and counter-terrorism unit in Kirkuk... on Wednesday arrested a key ISIS leader in the area of Wasit in Kirkuk province," Saad Maan, spokesperson for the Ministry of the Interior, announced in a statement.
The arrested person "worked as a torturer with ISIS," he added.
The unnamed person has been referred to a court for legal proceedings.
