[Bangkok Post] A physician was gunned down on his way home in Pattani province on Thursday night. The victim was identified as Doloh Hayeetaye, a doctor who worked at a local hospital. The murder in Khok Pho district was reported police around on Thursday morning. Police said he was attacked by at least two men on a motorcycle after departing from a sawmill on his bike. He was killed about 100 meters from his home.
Police assume militants were responsible.
