Intense exchange of hostilities between Turkish Army, Kurdish forces in Afrin

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Ottoman Turkish Army and Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are currently engaged in a fierce exchange of hostilities in the Afrin Canton tonight.

According to YPG activists, the Ottoman Turkish Army resumed their attacks on the Afrin Canton tonight, hitting several towns in the central and southern part of this region in Aleppo’s northwestern countryside.

In particular, the Ottoman Turkish Army launched a heavy artillery barrage on the town of al-Aqaybah, prompting the YPG to respond with a plethora of missiles.

The violent is still ongoing at the moment, as both parties attempt to inflict heavy damage on each others defenses.
